Crush the Crisis Collection and Participation Grows Annually
On Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, HCA Healthcare facilities from across the nation will once again partner with local law enforcement agencies in support of “Crush the Crisis,” the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. “Among the greatest threats fueling the opioid epidemic are unused and expired medications lingering in households, which pose the risk of being lost, stolen or misused,” says Jordan Kendig, AVP Community Engagement Marketing and Corporate Affairs. “Crush the Crisis provides a safe, anonymous and convenient opportunity to dispose of medications responsibly and shines a light on the ongoing dangers of opioid misuse.”
